Triton Digital releases its December 2023 reporting period (December 4-31), U.S. Podcast Ranker, as measured by Triton's Podcast Metrics measurement service. Yet again, SiriusXM Podcast Network remained in the #1 spot on the Top Sales Networks Report for the month of December, with 38.1 million Average Weekly Downloads and 12.1 million Average Weekly Users. NPR came in at #2 with 25.6 million AWDs and 6.9 million AWUs, followed by Wondery at #3 with 22.6 million AWDs and 6.9 million AWUs.

For this reporting period, the top three podcasts based on downloads included NPR News Now (NPR) at #1, Dateline NBC (NBCUniversal News Group) at #2 and Crime Junkie (audiochuck) at #3. For listeners, the top three podcasts included NPR News Now (NPR) at #1, Crime Junkie (audiochuck) at #2 and Up First (NPR) at #3.

Debuts for both downloads and listeners in the month of December include Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast (Audioboom), Mortal Sin (NBCUniversal News Group), and NPR's Book of the Day (NPR). Stavvy's World (All Things Comedy) debuted for listeners.
