The Top Podcast Ranker and Top 300 Australian-Made Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.
In April, the Top International Podcast Ranker saw “Hamish & Andy” (LiSTNR (SCA)) rise to the #1 spot, with “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) falling to #2 and “Sky News Australia Update” (News Corp Australia) elevating into the top ranked trio at #3.
The Top 300 Australian-made Ranker placed “Hamish & Andy” (LiSTNR (SCA)) at #1, “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #2, and “Sky News Australia Update” (News Corp Australia) at #3.
Triton’s Demos+ tool – which leverages opt-in, download-based behavior data – found that in April the top categories for listeners were News at #1, Society & Culture at #2, and Sports at #3.
International-only debuts for April included “The Idiot” (New York Times), “The Ella Era” (Tapt Media), “The Agenda Setters: AFL” (LiSTNR (SCA)), “The Girlfriends” (ARN/iHeart) and more.
