TRITON DIGITAL RELEASES THE FEBRUARY 2025 U.S. PODCAST RANKER

 

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – March 20, 2025Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of its February 2025 reporting period (February 3, 2025 – March 2, 2025), U.S. Podcast Ranker, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

 

iHeart Audience Network earned the #1 spot again on the Top Sales Networks Report for the month of February, with 70.9M Average Weekly Downloads and 20.9M Average Weekly Users. NPR came in again at #2 with 28.2M Average Weekly Downloads and 7.1M Average Weekly Users, followed by Audacy Podcast Network again at #3 with 14.2M Average Weekly Downloads and 5.4M Average Weekly Users.

 

For this reporting period, the top three podcasts based on downloads included NPR News Now (NPR) again at #1, Up First (NPR) again at #2, and The Dan Bongino Show (Cumulus Podcast Network) again at #3.

 

For listeners, the top three podcasts included NPR News Now (NPR) again at #1, Up First (NPR) again at #2, and The Dan Bongino Show (Cumulus Podcast Network) climbs to #3.

 

There were several debuts for the month of February including I Didn’t Know, Maybe You Didn’t Either! (iHeart Audience Network), The Con: Kaitlyn's Baby (CBC/Radio-Canada), The Late Show Pod Show with Stephen Colbert (Audacy Podcast Network) and more for both downloads and listeners.

 

Brains On! Science podcast for kids (American Public Media Group), The Ticket Top 10 (Cumulus Podcast Network), Bloomberg News Now (iHeart Audience Network) and more debuted for downloads.

 

Sea of Lies from Uncover (CBC/Radio-Canada), Sold a Story (American Public Media Group), Blink | Jake Haendel's Story (Audioboom), Are You A Charlotte? (iHeart Audience Network) and more debuted for listeners.

 

The Top Sales Network Reports are ranked by Average Weekly Downloads and Average Weekly Users in accordance with v2.1 of the IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines. Participating Sales Networks include content owners/creators and sales representation organizations.
