Triton Digital Announces Australian Podcast Ranker Data for February 2026

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – March 18, 2026 Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the February 2026 Australian Podcast Ranker, providing insights from February 1 – February 28, 2026, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

 

The Top Podcast Ranker and Top 300 Australian-Made Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

 

The Top International Podcast Ranker for February reported once again “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #1, followed by “ABC News Top Stories” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) at #2 and “Sky News Australia Update” (News Corp Australia) at #3.

 

The Top 300 Australian-made Ranker also reported the same lineup for February, ranking “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #1, “ABC News Top Stories” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) at #2, and “Sky News Australia Update” (News Corp Australia) at #3.

 

Triton’s Demos+ tool – which leverages opt-in, download-based behavior data – has expanded to include five times the number of characteristics available previously. For the month of February, the expanded Demos+ found the top categories for listeners were once again News at #1 and Society & Culture at #2, with Comedy rising to the #3 spot.

 

Triton has also released Australia’s Top Indexing Programs Ranker for H2 2025 (providing insights from July 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025), which includes the top 50 podcasts across 40 characteristics.

 

International-only debuts for February included “3AW Afternoons with Tony Moclair” (Nine Audio), “Intrigue” (BBC), “Valley of Shadows” (ARN/iHeart), “The SuperCoach Experience” (DM Podcasts), and more.

 

Debuts of Australian-made shows this month included “Inside Politics” (Nine Publishing), “The Montoyas” (The Bye Round), “The Fox League Podcast” (News Corp Australia), “Northern Territory Country Hour” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), and more.

 

Debuting across both international and Australian-made shows in February were “Unleashed” (Mamamia), “Kiss & Kill” (LiSTNR (SCA)), and “KIC Bump” (LiSTNR (SCA)).
