Triton Digital Launches its March 2026 Canada Podcast Ranker

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – April 30, 2026 Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the latest Canada Podcast Ranker for the March 2026 reporting period (March 2, 2026 – March 29, 2026), as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

In March, the Top Sales Networks once again remained the same, with CBC / Radio-Canada at #1 with 2.4M Average Weekly Downloads, Audioboom at #2 with 1.5M Average Weekly Downloads and BBC following at #3 with 662K Average Weekly Downloads.

The Top Canada Podcasts and Top Canada-Originated English-Language Podcasts also reported the same lineup, with “Front Burner” (CBC / Radio-Canada) at #1, “World Report” (CBC / Radio-Canada) at #2, and “The World This Hour” (CBC / Radio-Canada) at #3.

Following this trend, the Top Canada-Originated French-Language Podcasts reported once again “La revue de presse de Paul Arcand” (Cogeco Media) at #1, “Le Radiojournal” (Radio Canada) at #2, and “Mario Dumont” (QUB) at #3 for March.

Top 100 International Debuts included “Al Jazeera News Updates” (Al Jazeera), “The Take” (Al Jazeera), “Mathias et le serpent” (KOStudios), “The Inside Story Podcast” (Al Jazeera), “Entre le poire et le fromage” (KOStudios), “Party Pyjama” (KOStudios) and “Ingrid, Les Grandes Recontres” (KOStudios).

Top 30 Canada-Made FR Debuts included “Mathias et le serpent” (KOStudios), “Entre le poire et le fromage” (KOStudios), “Ingrid, Les Grandes Recontres” (KOStudios), “Party Pyjama” (KOStudios) and “Chez moi” (KOStudios).

Two new sales networks were also included in the Ranker in March: Al Jazeera and KOStudios.

The Top Sales Network Report is ranked by Average Weekly Downloads in accordance with v2.2 of the IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines. Participating Sales Networks include content owners/creators and sales representation organizations. Certified by the IAB Tech Lab, Triton’s Podcast Metrics eliminates inconsistent measurement practices and self-reported data, providing content creators, marketers, media buyers and the audio industry at large with validated and transparent podcast audience data.
