Triton Digital Announces Australian Podcast Ranker Data for March 2026

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – April 22, 2026 Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the March 2026 Australian Podcast Ranker, providing insights from March 1 – March 31, 2026, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

 

The Top Podcast Ranker and Top 300 Australian-Made Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

 

The Top International Podcast Ranker for March reported once again “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #1, followed by “Hamish & Andy” (LiSTNR (SCA)) at #2 and “ABC News Top Stories” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) at #3.

 

The Top 300 Australian-made Ranker reported the same lineup for March, ranking “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #1, followed by “Hamish & Andy” (LiSTNR (SCA)) at #2 and “ABC News Top Stories” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) at #3.

 

Triton’s Demos+ tool – which leverages opt-in, download-based behavior data – has now been expanded from 10 characteristics to 51. For the month of March, the expanded Demos+ found the top categories for listeners were once again News at #1 and Society & Culture at #2, with Sports rising to the #3 spot.

 

International-only debuts for March included “The Take” (Al Jazeera), “Love Trapped” (ARN/iHeart), “In Our Times: History” (BBC), “The Continuous Call Team (Nine Audio), and more.

 

Debuts of Australian-made shows this month included “2Day Breakfast with Nath & Emma (LiSTNR (SCA))”, “The Agenda Setters: AFL” (LiSTNR (SCA)) and “Nathan, Nat & Shaun” (NOVA Entertainment)

Debuting across both international and Australian-made shows in March were “Two Broke Chicks” (NOVA Entertainment), “ABC Business Daily” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), “The Mums’ Group” (ARN/iHeart) and “Relatables” (NOVA Entertainment).

 

Debuting in the Australian Ranker in March is Al Jazeera. Participating publishers in the Australian Ranker include Adore Beauty, All Ears English, Al Jazeera, Audioboom, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ARN/iHeart, BBC Studios, Bravecasting, Clubby Sports, DM Podcasts, Equity Mates Media, HODD Media, Johns Media, LiSTNR (SCA), Mamamia, Motorsport Podcast Network, New York Times, News Corp Australia, New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME), Nine, NOVA Entertainment, Podshape, Schwartz Media, Special Broadcasting Service, Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), Sport Social Podcast Network, Squiz Media, The Australia Institute, The Bye Round, The Guardian, The Washington Post Podcast Network, We Don’t Have Time For This, West Australian Newspapers, and Wondery.
