Triton Digital Canada Podcast Ranker (August); 3 new entries; 1 new top-10

Triton Digital released its Canada Podcast Ranker for August, listing the top 100 shows operated by Triton client networks. It shows one new entry in the top 10: 48 Hours (Paramount), entering the list at #10.

Interestingly, for the Canada report Triton observes English and French language podcasts, and breaks out the top-3 mini-ranking of both.

For this reporting period, the top three Canada originated French-language podcasts were Sexe Oral (TPX Podcast Network) again, Le Radiojournal (CBC/Radio-Canada), and Les chroniques de Pierre-Yves McSween (Cogeco Media).

The top three Canada originated English-language podcasts included Front Burner (CBC/Radio-Canada), The World This Hour (CBC/Radio-Canada), and World Report (CBC/Radio-Canada).

Only three podcasts entered the list for the first time; 97 shows are repeating rankers. The three newcomers:

• The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell (NBCUniversal News Group) – #100
• Watch What Crappens (Wondery Network) – #84
• Over My Dead Body (Wondery Network) – #63
