Royalty Reporting Tool

Royalty reporting tracks "performances" for broadcasters. The Royalty Reporting tool automates the collection and submission of this data to Sound Exchange, the royalty governing body.

Geoblocking

Geoblocking is used to manage visitors’ access to your stations in order to comply with distribution contracts or limit unwanted uses. You can create rules to allow or restrict access based on criteria such as the geographic location (country, region, city), the DMA and the Radius within a specific location.

Blackout Management

We understand that publishers do not have the rights to broadcast certain programming in certain media market (show or sport event). These programs are therefore subject to blackout which can be scheduled so that when listeners try to connect to the stream, a blackout content is provided or the access is completely restricted.

Profanity Filter

Regulations in some countries force broadcasters to provide a deferred broadcast of their live events to allow for the removal of potentially "profane" content. Our solution supports a profanity buffer mechanism that allows a station to remove the profane segment before streaming audio and video content to listeners.

Webcam Video Streaming

Live Event Insertion

User-Agent Filtering

User-Agent filtering allows you to specify which user agent is granted or denied access to a given station. This type of rule can be useful in the case where you want to limit the stream consumption to some players and make sure that others will not be able to play the streams. For example, you could grant access to your Flash players while denying it to third party players such as Winamp and iTunes.
